A week before, it reported over 230,000 cases and 380 deaths.
The country's official death toll reached 100,400, with a total of 16.6 million cases.
Some 447,132 people recovered from the disease in a week, according to the ministry.
At the start of June, the ministry switched to publishing Covid updates on a weekly rather than a daily basis.
