A person who was supposed to be in quarantine at home in the capital city of Ankara has been caught at the gendarmerie checkpoint before entering the Abant Nature Park in Turkey's western province of Bolu.
As reported by the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA), identified by the gendarmerie in an ID check, the COVID-positive person and his/her friend have been sent by the health teams of the nature park to the Bolu İzzet Baysal Public Hospital. As the person did not abide by the quarantine rules, he will be given an administrative fine and face a legal action.
After the two were hospitalized, the park has been disinfected.
Kütahya
In the district of Simav in Turkey's Aegean city of Kütahya, eight houses have been quarantined as part of pandemic measures.
As stated by the Simav Sub-Governor's Office, two houses in the Fatih Neighborhood, one house in the Sırapaym Neighborhood, two houses in the Naşa Neighborhood in the district center and one house in Köseler, Şenköy and Yemişli villages each have been quarantined.
The statement of the office has further announced that if citizens fail to abide by the rules of house quarantine and related orders, they will face administrative fines and other sanctions as per the Article 66 of the Law on Provincial Administration and the Article 32 of the Law of Misdemeanor.
Adıyaman
78 houses have been quarantined in Turkey's eastern province of Adıyaman in the last two days.
According to a statement released by the Adıyaman Governor's Office, as some citizens have tested positive for COVID-19 in the city center, the Provincial Public Health Board has decided to impose quarantine.
Bilecik
10 houses have been quarantined in the village of Aşağıköy in Turkey's Marmara province of Bilecik as part of COVID-19 measures.
Tokat
One village has been quarantined in the district of Turhal in Turkey's Black Sea province of Tokat.
In a statement released by the sub-governor's office, the District Public Health Board has decided to quarantine Akçatarla Village for 14 days.
