"I wanted to be a voice for those who want to live humanely"
In a 2014 article for bianet titled "The solidarity of journalists that came too late," which was a part of the "Rights Struggles of the 90s," İnceoğlu explained how he had started journalism:
"Before '80, I was still in high school, and I didn't even have a shred of thought of being a journalist. There was bad news every day, but we were young, we had a lot of young people like ourselves around us, and we had the belief that we would change the world.
"When the 90s came, I stepped into journalism and wanted to be the voice of those who were subjected to injustice, oppression and torture, in short, those who wanted to live humanely, to reach our ideals."

"After starting the profession, under the roof of the Contemporary Journalists Association (ÇGD), I found a lot of people sharing the same thoughts with me. When one feels that they are not alone, it always gives strength.
"The people around me prevented me from being grinded in the wheel of the media. Together, we objected to the mentality of 'obey and be comfortable." (AÖ/VK)
