Gulistan Doku

University student Gülistan Doku has been missing for over five months now. Speaking to bianet, attorney Çimen has announced that the family has filed a criminal complaint against Zeına Abarakov, the only suspect of the investigation.

Aygül Doku, the elder sister of Gülistan Doku, who has been missing for 139 days, has spoken to bianet about her sister.

Having gone missing in Dersim in early January, Gülistan Doku’s elder sister Aygül Doku tells bianet, "All authorities say that Gülistan is in the water of Brook Munzur. Esma Kılıçaslan and Specialized Sergeant Güneş were found there, but not my sister.”

Aygül Doku, the elder sister of Gülistan Doku, says, “I am now more sure about one thing after Esma: My sister didn’t commit suicide.” Lawyer Ali Çimen adds, “The natural suspect is Zeınal Abarakov. He must be arrested until the investigation is completed.”

HDP MP Önlü has submitted a Parliamentary question about Esma Kılıçarslan and Gülistan Doku: “Women go missing in a city like Dersim which is kept under surveillance with police stations and cameras 24 hours a day. They cannot be found in searches.”

University student Gülistan Doku has been missing in Dersim for 17 days now. “Help me. If my daughter is dead, I want her dead body. If she is alive, then I want her alive”, says her mother Bedriye Doku.

Since January 5, there has been no information as to the fate and whereabouts of university student Gülistan Doku in Dersim. Students have staged a protest in the province and asked, “Where is Gülistan Doku?”.
