Calf That Escaped from Eid-al Adha to be Placed in Shelter

AHBAP Platform founder and artist Haluk Levent has declared that they will place the calf, who escaped from animal market on the first day of Eid-al Adha, in farm animals’ shelter in Kemalpaşa, İzmir.
A calf who was on sale to be slaughtered had escaped on the first day of bairam in İyidere, Rize. The calf was seen swimming in Çamburnu, Trabzon and brought to land by coast guard teams and taken to a farm in Trabzon.
The animal escaping from being killed by swimming came to agenda on social media.
On his statement on social media, Levent said, “We’ve bought the Calf who jumped to sea in Rize and arrived in Trabzon after swimming for three days”. We’ve decided to send [the calf] to İzmir Kemalpaşa Farm Animals’ shelter”. Levent also expressed that he named the calf after the animation “Ferdinanda”. (ÇT/TK)
