Davutoğlu said those who attack civilian groups are true perpetrators.
Demirtaş: Bullet came out of police officer’s weapon
Demirtaş in his statement last night at HDP Ankara Head Office said regarding killing of Diyarbakır Bar President Tahir Elçi, “There were no one around except for police officers who were firing at that moment. The bullet came out of a police officer’s weapon, that’s for sure. However, we don’t know which police fired for what purpose”.
Davutoğlu: I am calling for those who speculate
Davutoğlu in response to Demirtaş’s words said, “I’ve confirmed in the meeting I made the day of the incident that investigations on this matter will be transparently shared with public.
Davutoğlu saying “I am calling for those who speculate” carried on as follows:
"Why have attacks being launched against chief prosecutor, crime scene investigation team, bar representatives? If there is anyone who wants to cover up this incident, it is those who are behind those attacks. A rocket attack was carried out on our security officer and chief prosecutor. All these happen before everyone’s eyes. Those who attack the civilians going there while we try to investigate them within the frame of democratic constitutional state are the true perpetrators of this murder.
"Now it needs to be asked to Demirtaş; which documents have you got that leads you to make such allegations? Did he make a crime scene investigation?" (HK/TK)
