Davutoğlu in response to Demirtaş claiming the bullet that killed Diyarbakır Bar President Tahir Elçi came out of a police gun had asked, “Now we need to ask Demirtaş on which evidence he puts forward this allegation. Did he make crime scene investigation?”
Davutoğlu had also stated that crime scene investigation teams couldn’t collect evidence because of attacks against them and said, “The true perpetrators of killing of Tahir Elçi are those”.
Demirtaş said in response to question, “Mr. Prime Minister, did you investigate the crime scene while saying PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) did this? Which documents do you have whilst claiming that?”
Questions by Demirtaş
Demirtaş carried on with his questions as follows:
“Most obvious thing understood from footage and eyewitnesses is that there is no one around Elçi shooting except for policemen. Why do you overlook that?
“Isn’t that personally you who declared curfew in the first hour at the scene of incident and prevented investigation?
“You said if Mr. Elçi were alive, yet he was alive four days ago and you were busy with lynching him with all your army of media/jurisdiction…” (HK/TK)
