The Beyoğlu District Governorship announced yesterday (November 24) that it banned the march after it "found" Twitter messages under the slogan, "We are raising our rebellion against violence, murder, harassment, rape, sexual abuse against women, we are gathering on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women."
The platform, despite the ban, called on women to come to Taksim. (TP/VK)
