Iğdır Alican Border Gate, closed for 30 years was reopened in order for the trucks carrying aid from Armenia to reach the earthquake-hit regions in Türkiye.
Trucks coming from Armenia passed the Margara Bridge at the Alican Border Gate in Iğdır, Türkiye, and moved on to the earthquake-hit regions.
Rescue teams also arrived from Armenia before this week and participated in the rescue efforts following the Feb. 6 earthquakes.

Armenia's Foreign Minister Vahan Hunanyan also announced the trucks carrying humanitarian aid passing the border gate in his social media account.
The Alican Border Gate between Türkiye and Armenia has been closed since April 1993. (TY/PE)
