The Ministry of Health reported 1,154 new coronavirus cases and 10 deaths yesterday (May 15). The country's death toll stands at 98,900 with a total of 15.1 million cases.
Some 120,183 people were tested for the virus and 1,190 people recovered from the disease in 24 hours.
Over 85 percent of the country's adult population have received at least two doses of the coronavirus vaccine with 27.7 million people receiving at least three jabs, according to the ministry figures.
As the number of new cases has been on the decrease, the government on April 26 lifted the indoor mask mandate except for public transport vehicles and health institutions. (VK)
