Convening under the chairpersonship of Governor Tuncay Sonel, the Ordu Provincial Public Hygiene Council suspended home visits, noting that 80 percent of cases contracted the virus from homes or workplaces.
Also, those who are infected with the virus will be quarantined in their homes and neighborhood heads will ensure that mass events such as weddings, engagements and condolence visits will not be held.
People with Covid symptoms will be taken to healthcare facilities for tests and brought back to their homes by attendants by vehicles, the council decided.
Funerals won't be held with more than 30 people, the council also stated. (TP/VK)
