The President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement related to explosion in Suruç district of Urfa province, in Southeast of Turkey while he was on a journey to Cyprus.
"Terror should be condemned whichever way it comes,” Erdoğan said.
"I condemn these savages. When I got on the plane, I was informed about the explosion. Our ministries went to Urfa province. Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu is following the process in Ankara. We will follow the case. Terror should be condemned whichever way it comes. It has no religion, nation or land. We have always expressed that an international campaign should be launched against terrorism. Terrorism intends to destroy humanity’s peace and happiness. We have to struggle globally against it. I offer my condolences to the families of 28 people who lost their lives in the explosion. I’m sorry for our losses. I wish wounded people a quick recovery.” (NV/BD)
