The Şalom newspaper has reported on the comments of "How on earth can a natural gas bill be so high, did we burn a Jew or what?" circulating on social media about the high natural gas bills.
Molinas: Such examples have increased
Editor-in-Chief of the Şalom newspaper, which reported on the social media posts, has spoken to bianet about the hate speech used in those comments.
Stating that "they tried to react to increasing natural gas bills in an anti-semitic language", Molinas has said,
"It is an example of a racism, which is beyond being cheap and can even be called despicable. It is a reflection of the sick souls."
Emphasizing that there has been an increase in racism and antisemitism on social media in recent years, Molinas has also added:
"There are such cases throughout the world, we should admit it; however, in Turkey, there is a marked increase in such examples on Facebook and Twitter. Of course, at this point, we only expect the law to get involved."

Regarding the concentration camp 'mise-en-scene' on the premiere of "Çiçero" movie, Molinas has said, "There is a lack of awareness and empathy there" and added,
"Presenting people who were burnt to death as an element of marketing or entertainment is a great disrespect towards the deceased; it is a lack of empathy, but a great disrespect as well.
"Because under no circumstances can you do marketing by using people exterminated in such an extraordinary massacre as a marketing item." (PT/SD)
