Last Wednesday, NBC journalists Aziz Akyavaş and Richard Engel disappeared in Syria, captured by Syria Army members.
"Since that night, we haven't heard from them," journalists' families said. Cameraman Akyavaş--Turkish origin--has been working in Syria since the civil war broke out in 2011.
According to NTV, the journalists said they were released and arrived at the Turkish border in Cilvegözü.
Previously, another abducted Turkish journalist Cüneyt Ünal who was captured along with his co-worker Bashar Kadumi in August 20, was released by Syrian Army to a delegate of CHP. Whereabouts of Kadumi is still unknown. (AS)
