29 new summaries of proceedings have been submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). While 23 of them have been issued against the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) MPs, including HDP Co-Chair Mithat Sancar, 17 MPs in total now face the possibility of their legislative immunity being lifted in line with these summaries.
As reported by Mezopotamya Agency, a summary of proceedings is also brought against Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Chair Saliha Aydeniz.
The names of HDP MPs and the number of summary of proceedings that they face are reportedly as follows: "Ayşe Sürücü (1), Ömer Öcalan (1), Tayip Temel (1), Hişyar Özsoy (2), Mithat Sancar (1), İmam Taşçıer (2), Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu (1), Berdan Öztürk (2), Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit (1), Meral Danış Beştaş (1), Feleknaz Uca (2), Nuran İmir (3), Sezai Temelli (1), Hüseyin Kaçmaz (1), Murat Sarısaç (1), Garo Paylan (1), Habip Eksik (1)"
As for the other political parties, a summary of proceedings has also been filed against main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) İstanbul MP Aykut Erdoğdu and İzmir MP Selin Sayek Böke.
İYİ Party MP Lütfü Türkkan and independent MPs Mensur Işık and Tüma Çelik have also faced a summary of proceedings. (RT/SD)
