Here are some of the highlights from Erdoğan's speech:
"PKK is atheist"
"During our government, we have not engaged in regionalism or racism. We have made an effort to embrace all members of the 81 million.
"Does the PKK [Kurdistan Workers' Party] have anything to do with our values or Islam? They are atheists. We should have the honor of standing up against them".
"We have managed to solve the Kurdish question"
"We have managed to solve the Kurdish question. In Turkey of 2018, there is no more such thing as a Kurdish question.
"The Turkey of today does not view any of its citizens as a problem. The only problem before us was the terror problem. Now, we are solving that, too. We are also overcoming the terror problem, we will overcome it." (EKN/SD)
