Eight dead in Diyarbakır land dispute between two families

In the Serçeler (Şidada) village in the Bismil district in southeastern Turkey, a fight broke out today (June 15) between two families due to a land dispute.

According to reports from Mezopotamya Agency (MA), the altercation resulted in the loss of eight lives and left several injured, who have been transported to nearby hospitals by the emergency medical teams.

To ensure safety, the gendarmerie deployed extensive security measures, and the area is placed under military blockade. (TY/WM)
