A group of people who managed to enter the banned Taksim Square have been detained by the police.

The Küçükçekmece 3rd Penal Court of Peace has imposed a publication and broadcast ban on the news about the sexual abuse of a five-year-old girl in İstanbul. Accordingly, access to some news articles about the issue has been blocked.

The police have blocked all the roads to Taksim Square and closed İstiklal Avenue to pedestrian access because of the May 1 Workers' day.

Workers who were on their way to May Day celebrations in Urfa had a traffic accident. While five people have lost their lives in the accident, 15 workers have been wounded. Four of the wounded are in serious condition.
