Making a statement for the press, the Women and LGBTI Commission of the Journalists Union of Turkey (TGS) has shared the results of its “Violence Experience Sharing Group Report”, which was prepared based on the statements of 27 women journalists.

Making a statement regarding the report submitted by rights organizations to the Ministry of Justice, İHD Co-Chair Türkdoğan has stated that the necessary changes for the establishment of an independent judiciary should be introduced.

Prof. Dr. L.N. from Sabancı University has been sentenced to 25 months in prison. The announcement of the verdict has not been deferred as the sentence is longer than 24 months. In another hearing, an arrest warrant has been issued for Dr. Yalçın.

Taksim Solidarity platform has made a statement regarding the Gezi indictment: “We will not let you turn the Gezi Resistance into a protest associated with crime, terror and coup.”

İşçi and Arcan from Human Rights Association have spoken to bianet about the families who appealed to them, alleging that their relatives were kidnapped: “We have either received no answer or a single sentence of ‘Examination has been conducted’.”
