Men have killed 23 women and attempted to kill at least two women in the second month of 2019. They also raped two women and harassed at least six women.

Releasing its 2018 report, the Legal Aid Bureau Against Sexual Harassment and Rape in Detention demanded the İstanbul Convention be implemented.
