Transgender Inmate Buse Pauses Hunger Strike on 38th Day
Transgender woman inmate Buse has paused her hunger strike on its 38th day. Her attorney Eren Keskin has stated that Buse will continue her hunger strike if she is not moved to another prison and not referred to hospital for her gender transition surgery.

Transgender Woman Murdered in Samsun
A man has killed his 24-year-old transgender girlfriend Simge Sezer in Samsun. The man has claimed that he committed the murder “because his manhood was ridiculed.” In 2017, two transgender women were killed and 11 of them were subjected to attacks.
