Detained in Kars, 3 people arrested
Taken into custody on October 1, HDP’s dismissed Kars Co-Mayor Şevin Alaca’s detention period has been extended by four days along with 14 other detained people. While three people have been arrested, three people have been released on probation.

After HDP’s Kars Provincial Co-Mayor Ayhan Bilgen was arrested with 16 other HDP politicians earlier today, a trustee has been appointed to the Kars Municipality by the Interior Ministry. Detained yesterday, Co-Mayor Alaca was also removed from office.
