Vegan Festival to be held online on July 3-4

Setting out to create social awareness on veganism, this year's International Vegan Festival will be held online on July 3-4, 2021.

Organized by the Vegan Association of Turkey (TVD), International İstanbul VegFest's all events will be free of charge.

Slogan: Give Life a Chance

Since 2017, the festival has been aiming to reach vegans and non-vegans with its "invitation to veganism" concept and "Give Life A Chance" slogan. 

The festival sets out to create social awareness on veganism as a whole with regards to animal rights and ethics, environment, health and sustainability.

With the objective of delivering a variety of themes to its visitors and bringing vegans together in a common ground, the festival hosts national and international guests in workshops, exhibitions and film/documentary screenings on relationship with animals as well as interactive applications, product tasting, book promotions, concerts and podcasts on diverse topics.

While the festival will continue for two days, the events will be simultaneously interpreted into Turkish and English. (EMK/SD)
