Curfew Declared for 332 Times in 3 Years
According to a report by the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey, curfew was declared for at least 332 times since August 16, 2015. Diyarbakır became the city with the greatest number of curfews declared with 190 curfews.

19 Ordered to Pay 4,500 Euros for Pot&Pan Protest
Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TIHV) released a statement, saying that 101 demonstrators were arrested during Gezi Resistance protests across Turkey with charges including “raiding a mosque”. Those who joined the protests by making noise with pots and pans were ordered to pay a total of 9,880 lira (roughly 4,500 euros).

The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) denied it had any involvement in Monday’s deadly blast in the southeastern province of Gaziantep that killed nine people and injured 69. The Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) and human rights organizations also condemned the incident.

“'Meticulous Attention' of Mr. Minister”
General Secretary of Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TİHV) Bakkalcı said that there are 520 patient prisoners in the prisons. He defined the manner of Minister of Justice Engin as “unserious” as Engin stated that “the patient prisoners are given medical treatment 'meticulously' ”. Bakkalcı also expressed that such an approach deepened the pain.
