‘At least 3 thousand 291 people’s right to life violated in Turkey in 2020’
According to the annual report of the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TİHV), at least 2 thousand 427 people, including 68 children and at least 101 refugees/ migrants, lost their lives in occupational homicides in Turkey in 2020.

The Turkish Medical Association has released its report titled “What the Deaths of Healthcare Workers in Turkey Tell”. The average age of the 403 healthcare workers who died of COVID-19 is 55.3, according to the report.

At least 232 workers lose their lives in May
The monthly report of the Health and Safety Labor Watch has shown that 232 workers lost their lives in May 2021; while 20 of the deceased were women and 212 were men, three children also lost their lives. 52 percent of the deaths were caused by COVID-19.
