18th Birthday of Berkin Elvan Killed During Gezi Resistance
Today is the 18th birthday of Berkin Elvan, who was hit by a gas cartridge fired by a police and lost his life at the age of 15 during Gezi Resistance.

On the 3rd anniversary of the Gezi Protests, surrounding area of the Gezi Park and Taksim monument have been closed to pedestrians by being circled by police barricades. Riot squads are on guard on the roads leading to the Taksim square.
