Raid on HDP Van Organization: ‘As-salamu alaykum*, we are here’

The Van Provincial Organization building of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) was raided by the police at night (November 27).

While no party executive was informed about the raid, the 4th floor of the building where the HDP Youth Assembly was located was searched.

Police changed the locks

As reported by the Mezopotamya Agency (MA), police officers seized the hard disk of a computer and the books. They also left a note on the whiteboard: "As-salamu alaykum*, we are here."

Police have reportedly changed the locks of the building's exterior door, entrance door and the fourth floor door and left the new keys on the doors. (EMK/SD)
