According to data bianet compiled from local, national and internet media between January 1 and December 31, 2018, men killed at least 255 women, 20 children including three babies and 39 men who were with the women at the time of the homicides.

Men raped 61 women, harassed 188 women, forced 516 women, including children, to sex work.

Men sexually abused 347 girls and injured at least 380 women.

In addition to these murders;

Perpetrators of 10 femicides from previous years have been identified.

At least 40 women died or committed suicide suspiciously.

Men attempted to kill 18 women.

Men tried to kidnap 16 women, some of whom were with their children. Men reportedly kidnapped the children to take revenge on their mothers.
