At end of the second hearing in the Cumhuriyet trial yesterday, the court ruled that Murat Sabuncu, Akın Atalay, Kadri Gürsel, Ahmet Şık, Emre İper Ahmet Kemal Aydoğdu remain in detention on remand. The next hearing will be on September 25.

2nd hearing in Cumhuriyet trial was held today in Silivri Court. The court heard former editor-in-chief Yıldız, news coordinator Küçükkaya, Cumhuriyet Foundation’s former executives Tüfekçioğlu, İnal and Kıraç, correspondent İlknur, columnist Soner and former public accountant Pamukoğlu as witnesses in today’s hearing.
