Workers working in the construction of the 3rd Airport in İstanbul have protested the late arrival of service vehicles despite the rain. Four workers have been taken into custody.

The request for compensation of journalist Deniz Yücel, who was released from prison after being arrested for 367 days without an indictment, has been rejected by the İstanbul 17th Heavy Penal Court.

Five-year-old Onur Özalp, who was hit by an armored police vehicle while playing in front of his house in the district of İdil in Şırnak nine months ago, has lost his life. Özalp was living in his house, connected to a life support unit.

Four mining accidents took place across Turkey between September 15 and 18. In the accidents, one person lost his life and 12 people were injured. The Chamber of Mining Engineers has given a statement for the press regarding the accidents.
