HDP has announced that the bilingual Parliamentary questions and inquiries submitted by its 22 MPs in mother languages on the occasion of International Mother Language Day have been returned to the MPs without being processed.

Commenting on the re-arrest of Osman Kavala, HRW Executive Director Roth said, “It shows how Turkey’s criminal justice system is politically manipulated, with detention and prosecutions pursued at the political whim of the president.”
