Hospitalized after the attack, journalists Umut Yaygır and Özcan Saraç have alleged that Nationalist Movement Party’s Ereğli Mayor Hüseyin Oprukçu instigated the attack.

Speaking about the killing of 16-year-old Muharrem Aksem in Urfa, the lawyer of the family has said that the shooting range near which Aksem was found dead does not comply with the regulations and pointed at negligence in his death.

The attack in Erdemli, Mersin was carried out at night when the office was closed.

CHP MP Kaya shared the video of the incident, attaching the note, “The images were captured in a boy’s dormitory of the Süleymancılar religious community in Esenler”. The Governor’s Office has stated that the dorm worker has been detained.
