Minister of Justice: Over 224,878 People Behind Bars, Capacities Exceeded
Minister of Justice has announced that there were 224,878 people in prisons 85,105 of whom are arrested and 139,773 are convicted. The Ministry has pointed out that the figure exceeded the capacity by 22,000.
