Men inflicted violence on at least 53 women, killed at least two children, abused at least 49 girls and boys, harassed at least 280 women and forced 79 women to sex work in October 2021.

According to the monthly report of the Coalition for Women in Journalism, Turkey was the leading country with the most cases of violence against women journalists in October: “At least 14 women reporters were subjected to violence in the country.”
