CHP MP Selina Doğan has found out in the prison where she went to visit Eser, Dalkıran and Erkem that the three rights advocates would be transferred to Silivri Prison.

Rights advocate Nejat Taştan detained during a training workshop on July 5 in Büyükada along with other nine rights defenders, released later and taken forcibly with a warrant to give testimony before court though has been released again.

According to bianet’s male violence monitoring report, 38% of the women who were murdered attempted to divorce or break up. 27.5% of the femicides took place in public places including workplace, in front of the house, park or on the street.
