Minister of EU: HDP Deputies Return İdil District
Hit the road to go Cizre district, HDP deputies had been blockaded by police. Deputies staged sit in, now they return to İdil district.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputies who took the road to go Cizre district of Şırnak province in southeastern Turkey were stopped in 10 kilometers away from İdil district on their second day of journey.
HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, Minister of European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ali Haydar Konca, Minister of Development Müslüm Doğan and approximately 25 HDP deputies now sit in.

Minister Ali Haydar Konca told bianet:
"Our Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, me and another Minister and about 25 deputies hit the road to go Cizre when we heard things aren't going well there. we tried to reach by walking but prevented."
"10 buses came with riot policemen inside. They don’t allow us to walk. We sit in now."
Konca said there was no electricity or water in Cizre and there were casualties but medical help was inefficient. Konca commented the state was punishing Cizre and it was a shame for democracy.
HDP Şırnak deputy Aycan İrmez told riot police used violence against female deputies and journalists.
Governorship of Cizre announced that curfew has been going on in the city since September 4.
HDP deputies had been prevented from going Cizre district in Mardin province.
Negotiations with state officials were fruitless and about 40 HDP deputies started to march towards Cizre.
HDP deputies were stopped for three times in İdil district of Şırnak province and they decided to spend the night in İdil district. (HK/ÇT/BD)
