HDP Co-Chairs Yüksekdağ, Demirtaş Arrested

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chairs Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş have been arrested.
Yüksekdağ and Demirtaş were detained within the scope of the operation launched against HDP in Ankara at around 1 a.m. today (November 4).
Yüksekdağ and Demirtaş were referred to court for arrest.
The arrest order was delivered to state-run Anadolu Agency and Doğan News Agency.
What had happened?
HDP Co-Chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, Şırnak MPs Ferhat Encü, Leyla Birlik, Hakkari MPs Selma Irmak, Abdullah Zeydan, Diyarbakır MPs İdris Baluken, Nursel Aydoğan, Zira Pir, Ankara MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Mardin MP Gülser Yıldırım were detained in a house raid launched towards morning.
Aydoğan, Birlik and Baluken were arrested, Pir, Önder and Taşçıer were released on condition of judicial control. (BK/TK)
