It has come to light that final decision regarding the plan of moving Hakkari provincial center to Yüksekova, Şırnak provincial central to Cizre announced by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu was made in security meeting held last week.
According to report of Nuray Babacan from Hürriyet, institutions have been allowed for 90 days to establish new sub-structure. At least 15 institutions and 500 state officers will be reassigned.
According to this:
- Ministry of Interior will prepare legal arrangement. The arrangement will be submitted to the parliament as draft.
- Public institutes and institutions have been allowed for 90 days to establish new sub-structure. In addition to buildings of governorate, security, gendarmerie, and jurisdiction, all district organizations of the ministries will be moved to these districts.
- The institutes to be move are mentioned as follows: Provincial Governorate, Provincial Security Directorate, Provincial Gendarmerie Commandership, Provincial Financial Office, Provincial National Education Directorate, Provincial Family and Health Directorate, Provincial Environment and Urbanism Directorate, Provincial Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Directorate, and Provincial Immigration Management Directorate.
- Every organized ministry will be granted duty and responsibility in these cities. In the work to be led by Vice PM Numan Kurtulmuş, concerned ministries will prepare their own plans. According to this:
* Ministry of Family and Social Policies will make plans as to social aids needed by civilians.
* Agriculture provincial directorates will take steps aimed to compensate losses of producers.
* National Education Provincial Directorates will work for children to receive continuous education. (ÇT/TK)
