Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has asked Republican People’s Party (CHP) Leader, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Leader, Devlet Bahçeli, and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair, Selahattin Demirtaş for appointment.
While Davutoğlu asks to meet leaders of CHP and MHP in the upcoming week, it is still unknown at which date he wants to meet with HDP Co-Chair.
Kılıçdaroğlu has responded positively to the request.
PM Davutoğlu will ask the opposition leaders of their ideas on new constitution and the process will commence.
It is also expected that Davutoğlu will discuss some other matters such as appealing courts instead of Judicial Council and Council of State, a new legislation in individual appeal, a structural change in Supreme Council of Judges and Prosecutors, and abolishing military jurisdiction. (EKN/TK)
