An explosion took place in Kızılay downtown of Turkey's capital of Ankara at around 6:35 p.m. The downtown is the most crowded and busy location of the city where millions use also as thoroughfare to reach other locations.
The explosion occurred 200-250 meters from the Parliament, and very close to Ministries of Justice and National Education, and Prime Ministry.
Ankara Governorship in its initial statemen has announced that 27 people have been killed and 75 wounded in the attack.
Two explosions of which one was on October 10, 2015 and the other was on February 17, 2016 had taken in place in Ankara. (BK/TK)
