Murdered on 19 January 2007, Agos Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Hrant Dink will be remembered with a march from Istanbul’s Taksim district to Osmanbey where the murder scene and Agos newspaper headquarters are located.
The memorial march will begin at 1:30pm local time from Taksim. A gathering will be outside Agos Newspaper at 3 pm.
Outside Agos Newspaper, banners saying “Face it! With Hrant, With Genocide!" and “We are here Ahparig" were hung.
Following the hanging of banners, the area was also decorated with red coronary - symbolizing grief and graveyard visit in Turkey. Later on, pomegranates were also installed.

3pm: Rakel Dink, Hrant Dink's wife, left red coronaries outside the newspaper building. A moment of silence has been established in the memory of Hrant Dink as well as victims of 1915, Berkin Elvan, Ahmet Kaya, Roboski victims, Rojava activist Nejat Ağırnaslı.
2:30pm: The march crowd reached Agos newspaper headquarters in Osmanbey.
Several demonstrators are carrying banners that said "We are all Hrant, we are all Charlie Hebdo".
Among the notable partipants of the march included Peoples' Democratic Party deputies Ertuğrul Kürkçü and Sırrı Süreyya Önder [below] as well as Berkin Elvan's parents.
1:30 pm: The march began from Taksim Square with the participation of thousands.
1 pm (GMT+2): Demonstrators are assembling at Taksim Square, Agos newspaper headquarters.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and Peoples' Democratic Congress have launched a petition to change the name of street as "Hrant Dink Street".
