Media Monitoring Center (MTM) analyzed the media’s coverage of the Gezi Resistance in the past year.
The analysis contains the area (or duration) and number of news items that written press and television allotted to Gezi between May 25, 2013 and May 31, 2014.

While Milliyet allotted the most space among written press with 1,069 full pages, Cumhuriyet took the lead in number of news items with 3,598 according to the study.
Yeni Şafak was the newspaper that gave the least space to Gezi, while Sabah with 1,340 news items made the fewest number of articles on the subject.

CNNTürk was the television channel that featured Gezi for the longest time with 1,845,965 seconds, and it also holds the record in number of news items with 6,649.
A Haber and Ülke TV followed CNNTürk on the basis of duration, and STV Haber and NTV in number of articles.
Kanaltürk spared the least amount of time for Gezi with 284,364 seconds on air, and Cem TV made the fewest news items with 682. (BK/PU/BM)
