81 Workers Die on the Job in February

According to Worker and Health Occupational Safety Assembly, at least 81 workers died on the job across Turkey in the month of February. 

Among 81 deceased workers, 4 were identified as women, 77 as men, 1 as child and 3 as immigrants. 

While most death cases were reported from Istanbul, workers died mostly due to shuttle and traffic accidents.

According to Worker and Health Occupational Safety Assembly, at least 1886 workers died on the job across Turkey in 2014. (NV/BM)
