Curfew was declared in Turkey’s southeastern 43 villages and hamlets in districts of Lice, Hani, Kocaköy and Dicle in Diyarbakır to be in effect as of 7 a.m. this morning (May 30).
The announcement issued by the Diyarbakır Governorship didn’t mention when the curfew will end.
The villages in which the curfew was declared are Ecemiş, Birlik, Şenlik, Abalı, Erginköy, Daralan, Duruköy, Çeper, Güçlü and hamlets in Gökçe village in Lice district; Kaledibi, Topçular, Çukurköy, Kuyular, Abacılar, Akçayurt, Yukarıturalı, Uzunlar, Serenköy, Gömeç, Kalaba, Kırım, Yayvan, Soylu, Çardaklı, Sergen, Okurköy, Gürbüz, Anıl, Süslü, Belen hamlets in Belen village in Hani district; Şaklat, Yazıköy and hamlets in Yazıköy village in Kocaköy district; Meydanköy, Sergenli, Dedeköy, Bademli,Döğer, Arıköy, Tepe, Başköy, Değirmenli, Kelekçi and hamlets in Kelekçi village in Dicle district.
The governorship stated that operations will be launched in those villages.
