Security forces noticed improvised explosive devices planted on the road in Erziki region located in the 30th km of the Hakkari - Van road yesterday (August 28).
According to the report of DHA, soldiers wanted to take measures yet the explosives trapped by members of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) were detonated. One soldier lost his life in the explosion, three others who were injured, were taken to Hakkari State Hospital. (EA/DG)
