Presidential Principal Consultant: Way will be Paved for Purchasing Registered Gun

Presidential Principal Consultant, Şeref Malkoç speaking on public channel TRT has said the way will be paved for civilians to bear arms. Malkoç advocated individual armament by saying “murders are being committed with unregistered guns”.

Malkoç spoke as follows:

“Difficulties are being raised before citizens’ purchasing guns. Mr. Minister of Interior will demand legal regulation about it and the way will be paved for civilians to purchase registered gun.

“The shooting incidents in Turkey are taking place with mostly unregistered guns. The way must be paved for purchasing registered gun for the people to practice their right of self-defense against those attempting coup.
