Reaction Against Cafe That ‘Exhibits’ Lion in Cage

Lion, crocodile, flamingo and parrot being kept in captivity in a cafe called “Mevzoo“ in Beykoz, İstanbul has sparked reaction in social media.

The matter has come to agenda after veterinary Oytun Okan Şenel’s Twitter post:

Flamingo, parrot, crocodile

As the cafe’s social media account is checked, it is seen that there are flamingo, crocodile and parrot in addition to the lion that is in the aquarium.

The lion in the cage walks in the glass cage of marble floor, which is lightened with LED lights placed among the customers.

Besides, it is stated that customers can feed the lion through the small holes into the window. (ÇT/TK)
