A truce plan for Syrian war prepared through joint efforts by the US and Russia to last 10 days came into effect as of yesterday at 7 p.m.

President Erdoğan, speaking about the Jarablus operation and the YPG, has said: “They now tell us that they [YPG] have withdrawn to the East of Euphrates. We say, ‘No, they have not’. The confirmation that they have passed to the East of Euphrates depends on our assessment”.

Turkish Armed Forces have stated that 21 targets were hit in Jarablus Operation carried out in cooperation with the Free Syrian Army and the US-led coalition against ISIS shot its target.

US Secretary of State Kerry has expressed that partition of Syria could be part of plan B in case temporary truce is not actualized.

Syria has agreed to cease the operations with the exception of ISIS and Al Nusra within the frame of the the truce agreement reached by US and Russia.

Following the US and Russia announcing the date as February 27 for truce excluding organizations such as ISIS, Al Nusra, Assad has issued a decree proclaiming general elections will be held on April 13.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Çavuşoğlu has stated that a land operation into Syria must involve all coalition countries.

President Erdoğan asked of statement of US State Department Spokesperson Kirby, has said, “It is wrong to make me deal with Kirby, I have an appointment with Obama at 5 p.m.”.

US has responded to the claim made by Davutoğlu and Erdoğan that the attack killing 28, wounding 61 has been launched by YPG: “We couldn’t determine perpetrator of the Ankara attack”.

Russia has rejected claims of having bombed hospitals in Syria thus committed war crime. The statement made from Kremlin has asserted that the claims were not based on any evidence.
