Constitutional Court says cancelling Peace Academic’s passport violated his rights
Discharged by a Statutory Decree, Academic for Peace Onur Can Taştan’s passport was cancelled. The Constitutional Court has concluded that his rights were violated by this cancellation. Taştan will now be paid 13,500 lira in damages.

Hunger strikes in Turkey’s prisons end on 290th day
Prisoners went on an indefinite-rotating hunger strike in protest against the isolation of PKK leader Öcalan in prison and the rights violations committed in prisons, especially during the pandemic. The periods were increased from 5 to 15 days as of July 14.
