A massive police force intervened the student protests against PM Erdogan's arrival at METU for the launch ceremony of Göktürk 2 satellite in Ankara last night.

According to the letter sent from the Ministry of Defense, male students completing 29 years of age have two options in order to enroll in a school: Paid military service or leaving their education unfinished and joining the army for 15 months.
